Hello,

I created a module.
And ı used linq on the connection.
On my ascx page ı added linqdatasource and then add gridview.
Here my codes:

Hello

I read all topic about this subject.

I upgrade my dnn 4.8.0 on the asp.net framework on the 3.5

but the same problem still continue

Unknown server tag 'asp:LinqDataSource'

 

 

What can I do else?

Are you positive you installed ASP.NET 3.5 on the server and rebooted it?

Also install and run: LinqPrep

I ran this linqPrep on my portal, but it has caused the following error to appear in several modules:

Luckily I took your advice to back-up the web-config beforehand so I was able to simply restore it.

Hower when I restore it I get the following error:

My Linq Code in the module is VERY simple:

This works on my own PC - I simply added a project reference to System.Data.Linq.dll.

I have added this DLL to the test server that I am getting this error in.
