Hello, I am running dnn 4.05.05 and my hosting company is easycgi.com
I purchased an ssl certificate through through easycgi from geotrust. Easycgi installed my certificate and I am able to access my website through https by doing the following https://www.mydomain.com/logo.gif The previous link works just fine and the certificate displays properly when I pull it up on the browser.

So what I did in DNN was I went to Admin --> Site Settings --> Advanced Settings --> SSL Settings and checked SSL Enabled and SSL Enforced, I hit update. Then I went to a page that is accessible by everyone and has no modules in it, just a blank page, and did the following Page Settings --> Advanced Settings and checked the "Secure?" checkbox, I hit update. As soon as I hit update the page looks like it is trying to save the settings but nothing happens, it just keeps trying and it never times out. So I open a new browser window and navigate to this page and again, the page just continues to try and load but it never does. I checked on the database on the "Tabs" table and the "IsSecure" column has in fact changed its value to "True" so I know that the setting actually stuck is just like DNN is having problems loading the page with SSL support on. I spoke to easycgi and they said that the page keeps trying to redirect or something, if I open the same page on firefox, firefox tries to load the page for about 4 seconds then it gives me this error:

The page isn't redirecting properly
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

I spoken with easycgi some more about this just to try and find out what the problem may be and although I am on a shared IIS environment, the SSL certificate is 100% mine, besides when I successfully loaded the url https://www.mydomain.com/logo.gif without a problem. Does anyone know what else I could check to see why this is not working?

Thanks

Hello Folks, I am trying to find a solution to this problem. It seems that I am not the only one that is running into this SSL Redirect issue. Has anyone been able to resolve this problem?
