I think there is a permissions problem with the latest build of the Events 4.01 Beta when running on DNN 4.9.1.

Everyone has access to VIEW the Events PAGE.  Only Administrators can edit the PAGE.

Administrators have Default Permissions to Events Module.  Registered Users have View Module and Edit Module Permissions.

If I login to the site as a Registered User and have the page in VIEW MODE I can see the PLUS (+) sign to add events, however if I click on it nothing happens.  Changing the page to EDIT mode enables the PLUS button to work as expected.

Here's the weird part.  If I change the module permissions for Registered Users and also give them Event Moderators they can click the PLUS (+) to add events whether the page is in VIEW or EDIT mode.

Is this something that can be fixed?  I'd like to avoid the confusion of having people toggle the page view mode as much as humanly possible.

Hi Bill,

Thanks for reporting these bugs. I've fixed this one, users who are only editors should now be able to add/edit/delete events when the site is in View Mode. This will be in the next beta.
