I think this is a simple one, but I can't figure it out, and it's KILLING me since it seems so simple:

I upgraded to 3.05.01, twice to be sure, and my Read More links and my Comments links from the blog main page no longer work.

http://www.babbaco.com/blog.aspx

The Edit Entry link still does work.

Can someone take a quick look and help me out?  I didn't do anything unusual except change the ViewBlog.ascx for design purposes..but just in case, i used the standard version, and it's still broken. (I don't think that makes a difference anyway).

Finally, I do have one issue, and that is that the Module Options under the actions dropdown gives me this error:

Error: Blog Module Options is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.Modules.Blog.ModuleOptions.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

but I do not knwo if that's been the case sicne the upgrade, or earlier.  My intention was to regenerate Permalinks, but I can't seem to get there without Module Options working.

ANY ASSISTANCE WOULD BE GREAT!!!

ok, so i modified the ViewEntry.ascx... and after the upgrade, whatever i did to it no longer worked, and was causing the error.

sorry to rant about it when it essentially was my fault.  unfortuntely, i find i have to modify these files a lot to make it look like i want it to look.

sigh.  oh well, lesson learned.

Hi Bomb27,

usually, most of the module styling can be done through the module.css styles editing. Altering the .ascx controls may lead to unexpetced behaviour, and the support forums may find difficult to help you in this case. Remember also that these controls get overwritten on every module upgrade, thus causing your edits to get lost.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa
