This is obviously a situation that will affect a small few people, but interestingly enough, Firefox from within Ubuntu fails to load when logging in as either host or portal admin. Upon the initial login, the following error message appears:

If you reload the page, the standard Home - Admin - Host - menu appears, but the menus do not drop down. They simply load sideways into the menu bar. Clicking on any menu item yields the same error as the one above.

Hopefully someone can help out. Even though we host DNN sites, I work primarily from a Linux workstation. Thanks!

Incidentally, this does not occur from within Opera, but does happen in Mozilla and Seamonkey browsers. I do not have Konquerer installed and did not test it there. I do not want to install KDE on my system, so I will leave it up to somebody else to check that out.

What I'm curious about is whether this is isolated to Ubuntu 8.10 or whether it's ubiquitous across all Linux or BSD platforms, Debian or otherwise, for the Mozilla family.

I have installed Ubuntu in VPC, I have to test some skins on Linux anyway, so this is a good test.

I do see that the menu does not look right in FF on Linux, I'll try to find out what the problem is, I don't see the error in the logging btw

I logged the skin issue here, I guess this will be some CSS file path issue, since Linux is a lot stricter there

I've seen a similar issue here with other OS's, and the solution was to clear out the cache.
