Has anyone used MVC and DNN together?  I was thinking about having a menu bar link that directs the user into an MVC site running as a sub directory under the main DNN install.  Has anyone done something similar?  There doesn't seem to be much running DNN and MVC together.

Thanks in advance,

Ben

DNN uses server controls and MVC doesnt support them. Why would you want to mix the two? Server controls and MVC are two distinct unrelated technologies for creating web sites. You shouldn't mix the two.

I'm well aware of the holly war between webforms & MVC.  For this site unfortunately I need MVC due to the a large mobile access requirement.  The best example of this is MVC allows you to easily leverage iPhone web frameworks.  I can find several examples of using Webforms and MVC together but have not been able to find similar articles referencing DNN.

I'm guessing that a structure like below would work, but looking for anyone that has tried to implement a similar approach.

For example:

\\Your_DNN_Site

\\Your_DNN_Site\MVC

I think DNN is a great framework to extend or compliment, so I'm just looking for awhile to leverage the platform is a slightly different content.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Best Regards,

Ben
