Interesting... I have an issue where smtp is configured correctly (test emails from the host setting received) and bulk mail sends, but the feedback module doesn't send anything, even though it shows up in list. no errors or event log entries

Hey folks. I hope I'm not budding in here. And I'll tell you up-front, I'm brand-spanking-new. Lots to learn.

I have the exact same issue as predmo, and going off of Sanjay's advice, I checked and confirmed that my SMTP setting are not correct. So my question is, how do I properly configure the SMTP settings? Do I get that information from my web hosting provider, 3Essentials? Is there some obvious place that I should look that will tell me the proper information to enter into the fields?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Negative Phil.

Phil - I"d check with your hosting provider. Tell them that you need a way to send emails from the website you're hosting with them. I'm sure they've done this already for others who host with them and should be able to provide this information to you. Once you get the information, log in as host and update the SMTP settings under the Host Menu.

Hello Sanjay,

I checked with my hosting provider. They actually had step by step instructions posted in their online knowledge database. So I'm good now.

Thank you for your assistance. Negative Phil.
