I read some complaints about this issue, and didn't find ANY answer from the core team to that huge error.

A scheduler which is running in request mode is not worth the use. Sending emails, for examples just canot happen right. If I want to send emails on a dedicated time, then I cannot use request mode, since I am not sure when this will happen. Also, Request Mode is much more heavy on the site load.

Why isn't there an answer until now?
Why isn't there an update to the scheduler of dnn49?
If you post new versions of DNN, then why don't you harry to fix their bugs? This is an issue which I face in every upgrade of the core.

Hope to hear some news here...

Could have sworn I heard/saw it was going to be fixed in 4.9.1.  Doh!  Guess I wait for that one.
