Hey guys, one of our programmers here at Primal Tribe have modified the code for Events 4.01 to include the filter by locations drop down. We would like to submit the code for review and including in the next version of Events. How can we go about this?

Hi Jason,

Thank you for your offer!

I assume that you donate the source code without any obligations to you or your company. If so, please mail me a .zip with the specific source files that have been changed. My e-mail address: ernstpeter.tamminga at dotnetnuke.com.

Please note that since Events 4.0.1 we have created 4.0.2 and we are scope and code complete on Events 4.1.0 (a beta is already available). These new versions contain a lot of improvements, code and table changes. Therefore, we cannot garantuee 100% that your enhancement on 4.0.1 will in included in 4.1.0. It all depends on how easy it can be included (and our free time, since all team members are volunteers).

Other idea: If we make the source code package for 4.1.0 available, could you do your trick again and send me back the components that have been changed? This would almost garantuee that your changes get into 4.1.0 as basic part of the module...
