First thing i run into, is that after setting the skin to small, and then back to default with applying both times is that it doesnt return back to the default skin, is stays in the small skin.

Second, with the month view settings. When sellecting the "disable month view cell events" setting and "event day new page" it gives an error when clicking the event: "Object reference not set to an instance of an object". Not sure how this should work or if it is even intented to work this way as i'm not sure what is ment with "not embedded".

Third, the sub callenders. Sub callenders only become available in other callenders after you actually delete (move) them from the selected list, disabeling the check "include other site event modules?" doesn't move them back from the selected list. Disabeling the check does however make them invisible in the list. Maybe it would make more sence if you uncheck "include other site events", that all the selected would be moved back to the available list or else not to make the list empty, but make them disabled so you still able to see what subcallenders are selected.

Hi Stefaan,

  1. I can't duplicate this. Have you checked in module settings whether it is still showing Small or not?
  2. The intention here is that the view will open up in a new page. This is for those that use the Small theme, so that when someone clicks on a day the view opens in a afull width page, rather than just in the space the original month view was taking up. I did find a bug, where the Day view wasn't included in the Module Definitions, which is needed for this to work. I have corrected, and this will be in the next beta. If you need the fix, it is easy to do. Go to the Module Definitions in the Host Menu, and for the Events Module, duplicate 'Event Details' definition, but use 'Day' instead of 'Details'.
  3. I have coded up a change along the lines of what you have suggested here - http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/ViewIssue.aspx?id=9182&PROJID=11 - in the next beta.

Cheers
Roger

The problem I had with the theme was due to the fact that I had two event modules on the same page, the other was still in small theme, and seems you cant have them in different themes.

I seem to have another problem. When using the conflict option, this doesn't takes in consideration the location. It just looks at the time and date.

First nice to have would be to be able to see the location in the different views, if it would be possible like in the list view to select the fields you would like to display. I made a work around with overlay template but this needs the user to hover over the event

Another nice to have would be a day view, with the time on the vertical side and different locations on the horizontal side, this way you would have complete overview of that day.

Hi Stefaan,

  1. In version 4.1.0 you should be able to use different themes with different instances of the module on a page. Previously you couldn't. I couldn't repeat this problem, so if you can describe your exact set-up we'll try and replicate and fix.
  2. Currently the way it works is the way it is designed to. It is on the list of things to do - http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/ViewIssue.aspx?id=7900&PROJID=11 - but won't make it into 4.1.0. It is schedule for 4.2.0. We have put a lot of work into 4.1.0, but unforunately not everything could be included.
  3. Are you looking for Location in the Month/Week views?
  4. There is a Day list view, which appears when you have Disable Month View Cell events ticked in Month view and then select a day. If you would like more than this could you raise on Gemini, the details on how to are in my signature strip.

Thanks
Roger

I decided item 2 was easy to do, so just added the capability via an extra option in module settings. It will be in the next beta. It also shows the date/time of the event it conflicts with in the message.

Cheers
Roger
