1. Themes setup:

I have the following setup: 3 event controls on the same page, one for each view (month, list, week), giving the users only access to the list view to add events, and the other showing the listview events as a subcalender. Changing a theme generaly puts all the modules in the small theme no mather what theme i select. I created a theme of my own that follows the look of our site and when selecting that theme on one of the controls, all take the look of our theme.

2. Month view --> day view

- Selecting a date in the month view basicly makes it look like the list view, in our enviroment i would be helpfull to make the day view look like the weekview. A graphical view of what meetings/event take place on with location at what time.

- When selecting both "disable month view cell events" and "event day new page" it gives an error when selecting a date. A critical error has occurred, Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

3. Location showing in other type of views

Again in our senario, it would be nice to view the location of the events in the graphical views. I did not see a template for the month/week view to make the location show next to the description. The only work around i found was using the tooltip.

4. Location colors

Using colors on locations would in our case make more sence then on the categories. Events in the red room, blue room, green room showing up in the color would greatly improve the visibilty to the user.

  1. I'll try and look into this again when I get a chance.
  2. Did you try the fix I detailed earlier in this thread?
  3. & 4. - If you would like these features added, please can you post on Gemini.

Thanks
Roger

Just a thought, are you using the standard themes, or have you customised them in any way?

Thanks
Roger

I'm using the standard themes, but seemes if you select "disable month view cell event", no mather what theme you select it goes into small theme here.

---

Not sure what you mean with the definitions to add the day event.

I went to host --> module definitions ; edit the events module

What should i do next? Add a day option under module controls?

Yep, and a new control. Have a look at the settings for EventDetails by editing it. Then  create one exactly the same but saying Day instead of Details.
