I assume the url is "url mapped" to default.aspx and parsed out into variables to determine what page to render.

I would like to write something determined by the url server side if I can. My backup is I can do this with javascript but would rather do server side. The request.servervariables("URL") will only give me default.aspx and no path. is there a way to determine during the page_load event of my control the page that is going to be rendered? arnt there dnn variables or something?

you can try request.rawurl to get the full url, or request.querystring("parametername") to quest specific querystring parameter values

your right the rawurl works. I should have thought of looping the request object to see whats there. Thanks much!
