Well I certainly don't get paid by PowerDNN - in fact I just recently canceled my personal account with them.  When I first started with DNN I used a PowerDNN account as my development install.  I recently had the time and the knowledge to build my own localhost development machine so I didn't need the personal account any longer.

I have used PowerDNN for three years for both personal (shared hosting), business (dedicated server), and client sites.  I can say without a doubt the support is above and beyond, their equipment and methods produce very fast sites, and their tools (Plesk, site optimization tools, site cloning tools, etc) are the best. The fact that they specialize in DNN is a big help.  Where else might you have access to the owner of the company for support issues?  Not that you need it as I have observed that the owner's attitude towards top notch support has trickled down through most of the employees.

Is there room for improvement?  Of course - nobody's perfect.  I would like to see a higher allotment for storage space - but since they use top of the line mirrored raid drives that could get expensive for them.  Are there other hosting companies out there that are good too? Yes, I'm sure there is.  I have researched a couple of them just in case things ever change at PowerDNN. But as of right now, I have not found one that tops (some come close) PowerDNN.

Why would the origninal poster and myself write such reviews if we weren't paid by or personal friends of the company?  At least in my case - when you feel like you are getting top of the line value and that company goes out of their way to support you, you naturally want to let people know about it.

 Thanks a ton for the great reviews and feedback.  We are always trying to improve/tweak our support at PowerDNN.  It is great to hear positive feedback from customers and I know my support team is always very happy to hear it as well.  Sometimes support can be a thankless job, as many people on this forum probably know, but it's absolutely essential to the success of our business and our customers businesses.  We have ambitious plans for 2009, and improving support and offering new support options are part of our roadmap.

The DNN world is an exciting place to be right now, we lookforward to seeing what 2009 has in store.  Thank you all again for the feedback.

Well, I'll chip in for PowerDNN.

Their support for me has been fantastic. Timely, to the point and polite. I've had no problems. I use their upgrade service and it's always been great.

No serious issues to report from me. All good.

Hi All,
Thank you very much for the kind words.  We work very hard to have top-notch support that is second to none.

@Max SPL (Brian Haas) -
I apologize if you're not happy with the service that we provide.  At the top of every support reply email, we ask customers to fill out a quick survey telling us how we're doing.  Any negative responses (which are few and far between) are routed to myself and all of our managers for review.  If things are not going the way you think they should be, please either contact me directly or use that method and we'll assign a dedicated engineer to your case right away.
