This post originally violated forum rules i.e. "No Advertising. This includes promotion of commercial and non-commercial products or services which are not directly related to DotNetNuke."

This post should never have been let through moderation, I've edited the content to let the poster know the reason why as the "reason for deletion" email has not worked reliably (forums team have a fix for this I believe). I will leave this message in place for 1 day, then delete it.

Cathal Connolly,

Avia is marked as "Is Trusted" in their profile, so this was not moderated at all.  I am sure this is why it made it through without challenge.

Best Regards,

Hi,

First I would like to say that I had no idea that I'm breaking any rule and if I knew I wouldn't do it and yes, "reason for deletion" email has not worked reliably, so thanks for leaving me a note.

Second, :

"

This announcement area is for those who CREATE resources, not resell or redistribute the work of others.

For example:

  • Modules
  • Skins / Containers
  • Skin Objects / Controls
  • Documentation / Help / Tutorials
  • Development tools with specific DotNetNuke application ( i.e. templates for a particular IDE )
  • User Groups / DNN Related SIGs

"

What I was announcing in this post was:

Modules- there were quite a few of them in that announcement:

The universal rss slideshow , the image gift module and the advanced email translator, are All dnn modules.

For the first time, (even I've announced the first two already) I gave for each one of them  a link, to a stand alone instance, so any one who whished to use them could have used them as iframes in their sites, for free, out of charge, as I've explained in the post.

I also thought that demonstrating how you can put dnn modules on a toolbar (e.g "Development tools with specific DotNetNuke application") could might be interesting some dnn social application developers.

Thanks.
