Hi, I have just set up DNN 4.9.1 with everything functioning well, or so I thought.

I installed the Events module on a new page, no issues, could do everything - change settings, add events, add categories, locations etc etc.

Installed the Store Admin module on another page and suddenly have all sorts of issues with the whole portal.

If I now add any module eg: Text/Html to a new page (all permissions set properly), a red box appears around that module "Visible By Administrators Only". Further more, the menu on the module that allows us to get to module settings or move or delete that module just does not appear.

If I change permissions on the page to allow all users to view or edit that module, the red box is gone (as it should be) but the module menu still does not appear.

I have no way to remove any module from any page once it is there, nor can I access/change module settings. I'm getting this now on ANY module, on ANY page AND I'm logged in as Super User.

Pretty sure a setting or something in the db has changed and is forcing all this. Any ideas guys?

This a brand new DNN 4.9.1 test installation running without error until the Store Admin module was added to a test page.

Thanks, Lindsay

Guys, here another odd thing unless I'm out of touch with DNN :-)

If I register a new user, I go into the db users table and set that new user to be a SuperUser, ie: IsSuperUser = True.
The, I go to the UserRoles table and add a new row for that user and give it a role id of 0, ie Adminstrators.

Now I log in to the portal using THAT new user id and voila! I have full access to EVERYTHING. I can access module settings, add modules etc.

More later but if there are any ideas out there, let me know!

Thanks
