Ok, the "problem" might be that the DnnMenu detects your browser and then renders the menu different for different browsers.

I tried with Ubuntu 8.10 and FF 3 and could reproduce the problem from this post:

http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/118/threadid/278689/scope/posts/Default.aspx

The Firefox detected as Mozilla by Asp.net and not Firefoxa and treated as a downlevel browser (the menu renders different HTML)

I logged it here:
http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/ViewIssue.aspx?id=9158&PROJID=39

Read Jons comment for a suggestion on how to solve this.

You can visit this test page to see what Browser ASP.NET detects (this is a temporary page):

http://test.timo-design.nl/testpage

(the screen resolution option does not work BTW)

@Timo Breumelhof

I have gone through all of the links  you provided to me but non of them seem to help me. I am not sure whether the dnn default module supports Mozilla or not.

BTW, here is the site address: www.etmportal.com. you can check it out in your browsers.

Thanks,

+1 to the people who would love a public resolution to this topic.

We just launched a site (http://ctnation.citizenschools.net) and 1st thing, we had a user report that the main menu wasn't accessible on a Unbuntu machine. Any resolution / methods to resolve? If so, please, please post!

Thanks!

I totally see the issue and I agree that I think Linux/Firefox should be supported out of the box when it comes to rendering. This issue effects dotnetnuke.com as well. Unfortunately Timo's Gemini issue (link he stated as above)  got withdrawn and I've added my own comments. You and anybody else worried about this might want to add some comment there.

NB I'm trying this in Linux as we speak (everything else seems to work dandy :).
