Hello all. I have a DNN site that is using verison 4.9.1. On most users (that I know of) the site functions just fine. On my computer the site functions just fine. On some browsers, clicking on links crashes IE.

For some people, it actually brings down their entire computer. (i.e. stops responding) on others, it just crashes the browser. On some, it happens the first time you click on a link. On others, it takes a couple of clicks to get to the point where it freezes and crashes.

I don't even know where to begin troubleshooting this one. Especially since i can't recreate it.

ANY and ALL advice is appreciated!

Thanks.

Vee

this might be caused by a JavaScript issue, either in one of the 3rd party modules or skins.

 No smart nav turned on.

There are no scripts in the skin. The only scripting that i know of on the home page is a scriptinjector for ShareThis! and maybe the Spreadshirt link. What would be the best way to go about troubleshooting this, since I can't recreate it on my PC?

(Any of them.)

Has anyone heard of CuteWysiwig causing this for end users?

I would first ask the users for their exact environment, I have seen reports of strange problems (not related I think) in combination with certain virusscanners and mainly Zonealarm
