 I updated my Blog module to 3.x5, and my list of entries got a new look I did not expect. I looks like the Blogs on here, the DNN site now, except my entry Titles are in Times Roman now and do not match anything else on my site. Also, they just seem too big.  I am just using a default DNNgreen skin and container, and DNN 4.1.9.

The Blog list of article used to be all "normal" small text and look more like an RSS feed. Now it takes up a lot more room on the page and has the mismatched fonts. Was that supposed to happen, and can I change the font to match like it matches on this site?  I have never changed the skin files before. I was putting off buying a skin till I see if I will go to DNN5 later this year. But I am getting sort of tired of the same old same old DNNcolor skins that have been in DNN forever. This font mismatch almost pushed me to buy something early. But all I really need is to get the fonts back matching.  Thanks.

Any ideas?  Can I chage the font to match? It is the title of the blog article. It is in Time Roman since I updated the blog module.

I just took a quick look at the blog module, and it looks like the header is wrapped in the following tags:

<h2 class="blog_title">

Have you tried adding a style for that in your stylesheet at all if one doesn't exist already?

Thanks. I tried and could just get the font to change color and boldness. It still shows as Times Roman or some other serif font. I added this from the Admin> Site Setting > Style sheet edit window, as the last text in the list.

/* Dummy tries to fix Blog header font   */

.blog_title {
    font-family: Tahoma, Arial, Helvetica;
    font-size:  18px;
    font-weight: bold;
    color: black;
}
