Hi,

I have created a module using Linq-to-SQL which creates two tables in the database. I have a Module in a zip package, which contains the dbml file which from what i understand creates the tables in the database.

When i install the module no errors are thrown. However when it gets to the part where it executes sql it says:

StartJob Begin Sql Execution

EndJob Finished Sql execution

with nothing in between.

So i guess its just ignoring the dbml file? Because after installation the tables are not present in the database.

Does anyone know why this may be happening?

The .dbml file will not create the tables. You needs a file like:

01.00.00.SqlDataProvider

Thanks for the reply,

Its not in my Module_01.00.00_Install package. Is it something i would have to create and add manually?

You need to create it and add it reflecting the version of your module. You can find more information in the Module Developer's Guide available from the Downloadable FIles section in the Resources>Documentation area.
