If I enter this in the Source view of the FCKEditor window in Newsletters:

<p><a name="top"></a></p>
<h3>Test Anchor</h3>
<p><a href="#top">Back to top</a></p>

and send myself an email, the source of the email I receive is:

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=us-ascii"><base href="www.mysite.co.uk"><p><a name="top"></a></p>
<h3>Test Anchor</h3>
<p><a href="#top">Back to top</a></p>

Where is the <base href="www.mysite.co.uk"> coming from.

If the newsletter is quite long, it's hand to have a list of sections at the top, linked to anchors in the newsletter and then a 'back to top' linked to the <a name="top"> anchor.

The hyperlink in my email client (Outlook2007) is www.mysite.co.uk#top, which of course loads the home page and tries to focus on a non-existent anchor.
