Hi Costas,

Plesk is very Powerful Control Panel and allows you to do Full Backup / Restore of your website including database, it's just the matter of two Check boxes needs to be checked in your client account. Submit a ticket agian, hopefully they will do it for you. Good Luck.

Hello.

I don't know about the two checkboxes. At 3essentials you are NOT allowed to to ANY backup and restore of your DB yourselft. You MUST open a ticket about it. At least on shared plans.

As for Plesk, i sure prefer DotNetPanel. No compare.

Hi,

I have a snap shot to show you where you set those check boxes, but I am unable to upload a picture in this forum.

The backup setting is in the Client's template in Plesk,

Honestly if their policy is not to allow backup through control panel, they won't allow it no matter what.
