Hello all dnn community !

I had the previous version of dnn and now i update it on version 5. After the update and installation off ACTIVE DIRECTORY PROVIDER ,  i have not access at my forum ,which was running before the previous version!

The returning error is :

A critical error has occurred.

Method not found: 'System.Collections.Hashtable

DotNetNuke.Services.Authentication.AuthenticationConfigBase.get_ModuleSettings()'.

 What I do to solve the problem?

There's a bug in the 05.00.00 version of the AD provider that's included with the DNN 5 install. You can get the 05.00.01 version that's currently in the DNN Release Tracker from my site (http://dnn.gmss.org). That's if you are currently using the AD Provider. If you're not in a situation where you would be needing to use the provider then I would just uninstall it.

  1. Login as Host.
  2. Go to Host->Extensions
  3. Click on the pencil beside the AD provider
  4. Click uninstall or remove (I don't have a DNN install handy to see exactly what it says).

If you can't get logged into your DNN install then see my latest blog for instructions on how to get around the problem.
