Check out "portal aliases" (google dotnetnuke + portal aliases) and make sure the website (installed via FTP) is in the root.

Hi Alex,

I am having this same problem...  I'm not sure what you mean by "root".  When I installed DNN on my server, I used the "Default Web Site" and create the Virtual Directory "dnn_site".  Now, instead of going to the root site http://www.hbtoblog.com to access my site, I have to add the "dnn_site" (http://www.hbtoblog.com/dnn_site).

I review the first 5 results on Google, John Mitchell's/DNNCreative(which won't take my credit card)/couple of hosting companies without an adequate answer.

Nic, did you ever figure this out?

Thanks.

You need to add a redirector. It's the only way I know how anyway. Just google html redirector the code is easy to edit. Put this at the root of your website, i.e. your default website virtual directory, or the folder inetpub for IIS.
