I installed the module in 5.4.1 and entered some settings and hit update and I got this error:

Error: Flickr is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at OliverHine.Escher.ViewEscher.GenerateInitialView() at OliverHine.Escher.ViewEscher.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

So what is the reason for this unclear error?  Is  the Flickr site down (highly unlikely) or  this some error in the module itself? What to put in the username field? My Yahoo username (in the case of Flickr)? Do I have to sign up for an api key and that's the user name?

Please provide some quick installation docs int the zip file.

You should be able to bind directly to a photoset through the flickrapi, lets go back to the flickr sample url...

The red text will be the username, and the blue text will be the gallery... This should bind the module to that specific photoset, and not your entire photostream. Let me know if you have any problems with this. I'm working on getting an album selector into the next release that will simplify the process of configuring the module. I also need to fix the help text associated with those fields.

As for the tag cloud, I'll add that into the list. However, the UNC provider won't be able to utilize such a feature, as the files won't have any tags...

And for the navigation of the lightbox mode via keyboard shortcuts, some of the rendering plugins support that out of the box and others do not. I'll look into getting something like this working across the board.

Oliver : you should mention that the user name is that part of the url and not their flickr user name. The module setting tip still wasn't clear to me. Great job on the module. I am still checking it out.

Enter ther username provided by the PhotoStore you selected

There seems to be an issue with any selecting any "fullsize" picture size above small when using escher.
I am running the latest build of escher as of 3/10/2010 and what I beleive is the latest DNN build of :
05.04.01 (26).
Whenever I select any size higher than "small" for the display size the settings are saved but when the image is clicked in the gallery it only goes to the small size.
I am aware that the flickrnet.dll has some issues with designating sizes but I think that if you just took the small version and parse out the "_m" at the end before the file extension that it should work. I know that it is kind of a kludge but it should work.

hey, Still some problems like Kaeghl, We cant select any larger images from flickr then the small, but we need the original. Is that a programe mistake? How can it be fixed? Or is it possible to give the source code so we can manage our own? grtz
