Hi everyone,

I'm using EasyCGI, I endured the pain migration process to their server.  My sites, which are 4.8, can through the process ok.  Now all of the sudden it appears none of my sites (using asingle host, but many portals) has slowed to an absolute crawl....I simply don't know what I don't know.  I truncated my Eventlog table, but that doesn't work.  Every blue moon I can get a page to serve up but that's it, I can't log in.  So at this point if anyone has suggestions I will take all of them.  I'm willing to pay for some expert consultation if that's what it takes.

Thanks,

Doug Smith

Hi Doug

I sympathise with you as someone that has had DNN grind to a halt in the past and spent weeks trying to sort it.

I truly hope you can get it sorted.

Have you tried restoring a backup?  Also keeping current database to save data from being lost.

I take it you use shared hosting?  have they been able to look at it on the server? Tried accessing any of the Portal sites on the server itself?  Do you have anything else apart from DNN hosted on the server you could check.

Probably not too much help but I'm trying!

Doug,

check out the database and make sure the transaction log is properly truncated as well.

Have you tried disabling the schedulers?  One of them may be slowing down your site.  If you can't log-in to disable them, go into your database, open the Scheduler table and set the Enabled column to False for every record.
