I just checked this again today and still no response. This is getting critical as I need to update a rather important website and can not due to these errors.

I just checked the errors and things and portal alias' do not work either.

I've also posted this here: http://www.dnncreative.com/Forum/tabid/88/forumid/4/postid/15022/view/topic/Default.aspx

It has quite a bit more info plus event log errors.

A lot of these issues have been logged or posted before. 5.0.1 should have a number of fixes in place to a solve a number of these problems.

Check out the roadmap of ** DNN Core Framework ** (DNN).

Ditto. Using 5.0.0 and I can't get to host skins or extensions either, which came about after installing portal skins.

Is there a way to fix this by removing the skins? So far, that hasn't helped either. I'm planning on doing a fresh install of 5.0.1 to avoid this altogether.

It doesn't sound like a solution was ever found for this issue?  I am having the same issue after upgrading from 3.3.7 to 5.1.  I have a Skins submenu under Admin but not under Host.  Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can install/fix the missing Skins submenu under Host?
