Application restarts frequently, Is there any logs I can turn on to see whats possibly causing these restarts.

I am assuming restarts are not caused by the servers since we have several DNN instances running well.

The logs report nothing remotely connected with the restarts at the time of restarts.

Windows logs show .net 2 warnings and that's about it I am also assuming that if it was the environment the other instance would fail also.

I have allocated 500MB for app pool

I am running 4.08.00 sql 2005

I'll appreciate any help. Thanks

Looking at the event log on the server might tell you something if you happen to be hitting the memory limit for the specific application pool.

Also, the shutdowns could simply be due to periods of inactivity if you have not changed the default "shut down after 20 minutes of inactivity" setting.

Thanks for your help, inactivity is set to 200 minute, the restarts occur when the site is active. I am save withing the memory limits the pool never goes over 60% of allocated space.

I'll turn on the module load exception see what it does.

If you can thing of any thing else , I thank you.

depending on the modules used on your sites and memory caching used, you might need to increase associated RAM for the App Pool. Due to the fact, that the app is halted, the only source for information about this is the Windows App Event log.
