I'm very very new to Nuke.

The state gov. I work for wants to create an application that will allow a person to renew their profession license online.
But for each profession (doctor, nurse, vet) there would be different questions that would need to be answered and also for different individuals there
could be different questions as well base on some data in database.   Of course all the answers to the questions would have to be saved in a database.
So my questions are:
Can Nuke be step up display modules that would be different for each profession (may be controlled by the database)?
Can the content of a module be changed depending on some database value (expiration date, what specialty the doctor has)?
Then can the data be saved in a generic way (maybe XML)?
Thanks for your input.

 Hey Gene,

Not only can you accomplish this with DNN, you can probably accomplish it without any custom development. While there are many solutions to a given problem (and everyone else - feel free to chime in with your thoughts) my first thought is that a module by DataSprings called Dynamic forms has the functionality that you need.

With it you could set up one or more forms that show and hide questions based on the user's role. Then you can define custom events that happen when the user submits the form and use SQL to insert the data into the database.

Their module is very flexible and I've had good experience with it (although I've only used it for one project). But, because there are so many options, setting the module up can be a little overwhelming, but from what I can tell they have pretty good documentation and support. Check out their website for more information.

Hope that helps,
Take care,

Ian
