it looks like some upgrade code did not run, you may adjust the table manually and will be fine. Alterations have been made for Dashboard module, i.e. not a critical component of the framework.

I got this as well: The stored procedure 'dbo.GetPackageByName' doesn't exist.

try to roll back to 4.9.1 but also failed, so what can I do now? When can I have 5.0.1?

Hi All

I got this to work doing the following after a failed dnn5.0.0 install

I executed all of the scripts in Lennards posting EXCEPT

ALTER TABLE dbo.Packages
 ALTER COLUMN License ntext NULL

ALTER TABLE dbo.Packages
 ALTER COLUMN Manifest ntext NULL

I also changed

DROP INDEX IX_Packages ON dbo.Packages

to

DROP INDEX dbo.Packages.IX_Packages

After this the rest ran smooth as and the rest of the DNN install was fine.

I was consistently getting the same error when upgrading to any 5.x from 4.x. I finally upgraded my SQL Server to SQL 2008 (i was using 2000). And the upgrade finally went through without any problems.
