Dot net nuke is smthg completely new for me, although I am working on
ASP.Net for aorund 2 years. I want to create a portal using DNN, need
to add a module(written in C#) to it. But I am just unable to work this
out(feel like pulling my hairs), downloaded both DNN with Source code
and DNN installation (4.0.2) but to no avail. I am simply nable to find
BuildSupport folder. Can anyone recommend a me a link where I can find
a step-by-step detail of adding a module to DNN. Btw. i am using .Net
2.0 and VS 2005. even if you can just tell me how should I start, that
would be great.

Found this somewhere..
After loading the source code into a directory and creating a virtual directory (or website) in IIS that points to this directory, open the Solutions/DotNetNuke.All/DotNetNuke.All.sln file, compile, set the connection string in the web.config file, and give the ASP.NET worker process write access to the appropriate directories (as documented in the installation guide). Then, just browse to the site and it will install itself.

BUT believe me, I am unable to find any folder anmely "Solutions"

Thanks very much for your reply. the article is a great help. It seems thaat DNN ppl are giving us outdated documentation :(

One more thing I am unable to see "Host" menu. Although I am following the article word by word.

the doucmentation that might seem outdated is probably becuase you are using version 4.03.  The documentation is still very relevent for those still on previos versions.  DotNetNuke will be supporting the 1.x and 2.x framework for soem time.  IF you are new to dotnetnuke and are not a seasoned developer you might want to start with the 1.x version.
