Hi,

I in a web project using DNN 4.8.0 and I have been asked to developed an event log procedure to the portal so that I can keep track the events occur. So I came across that there is a very well handled event viewer in DNN and I am really impressed with it as well and in fact that's what doctor ordered to my requirement. So I need a little help about customizing the existing event viewer in DNN.

Is there an API I can use to add my log types types and trigger them when a relevant event occur.

plz help.

Regards,
Sumithmoratuwa.

you can easily add your own event type to the database, but I am afraid, there is no documentation, check out the source code of the core, how other events are implemented.
