Hi

I'm working on the css of my website, and I was wondering if it's possible to make a different css for the back end & the front end.

I have a module with no title or icon, but when i'm in view mode, I still see the space of the containerrow (with normally title & icon in it) and it shouldn't be there. I tried to hide it with 'display:none', but then the container settings drop down menu (normally next to the title) is also gone in the back end.

How can I solve this?

thanks in advance

You can set a different skin for admin pages, but not a different skin for the same page while in view / edit mode.

(well in fact you could but that would be more programming then skinning)

You could place the actions menu at the bottom of the container, but you still need some place to show the actions menu.

Thanks for the idea, I tried this but the result is that when I roll over the drop down menu button, dnn doesn't show the menu (keeps on searching for it).

here's the code of the container, the tr in bold is the one I moved from the top to the bottom.

<TABLE class="myContainer" cellSpacing="0" cellPadding="0" align="center" border="0">
        <TR>
          <TD id="ContentPane" runat="server" align="center" class="ContainerContentPane sirfrContent" ></TD>
        </TR>
        <TR>
          <TD>
            <TABLE width="100%" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="module_functions_table">
              <TR class="module_functions">
                <TD align="left" valign="middle" nowrap><dnn:ACTIONBUTTON1 runat="server" id="dnnACTIONBUTTON1" CommandName="AddContent.Action" DisplayIcon="True" DisplayLink="True" /></TD>
                <TD align="right" valign="middle" nowrap><dnn:ACTIONBUTTON2 runat="server" id="dnnACTIONBUTTON2" CommandName="SyndicateModule.Action" DisplayIcon="True" DisplayLink="False" />&nbsp;<dnn:ACTIONBUTTON3 runat="server" id="dnnACTIONBUTTON3" CommandName="PrintModule.Action" DisplayIcon="True" DisplayLink="False" />&nbsp;<dnn:ACTIONBUTTON4 runat="server" id="dnnACTIONBUTTON4" CommandName="ModuleSettings.Action" DisplayIcon="True" DisplayLink="False" /></TD>
              </TR>
            </TABLE>
          </TD>
        </TR>
         <TR>
          <TD class="containerrow1_blue sifrTitle">
            <TABLE width="100%" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">
              <TR>
                <TD valign="middle" nowrap><dnn:ACTIONS runat="server" id="dnnACTIONS" ProviderName="DNNMenuNavigationProvider" ExpandDepth="1" PopulateNodesFromClient="True" /></TD>
                <TD valign="middle" nowrap class="container_icon"><dnn:ICON runat="server" id="dnnICON" /></TD>
                <TD valign="middle" nowrap class="sifrTitle" colspan="2">&nbsp;<dnn:TITLE runat="server" id="dnnTITLE" /></TD>
                <TD valign="middle" nowrap><dnn:VISIBILITY runat="server" id="dnnVISIBILITY" /><dnn:ACTIONBUTTON5 runat="server" id="dnnACTIONBUTTON5" CommandName="ModuleHelp.Action" DisplayIcon="True" DisplayLink="False" /></TD>
              </TR>
            </TABLE>
          </TD>
        </TR>

      </TABLE>

Thanks a lot for the help!
