OK, a bit more on the issue...

I am able to render the feed with a simple change in the URL, as mentioned above.  Instead of using the URL protocol feed://, I use the http:// protocol call when using this feed in the DNN News module.  The issue is really one of design and implementation, the feed:// protocol is used by standalone feed readers or aggregator software, while the http:// protocol is used by browser type software.  Most feed providers that offer syndicated content can offer both types, but not always.  When I use the feed:// protocol URL, it opens up my RSS Bandit feed reader/aggregator on my XP Pro machine, when using from IE7.  If I don't have any feed reader software installed, as is the case on my home XP Pro workstation, I get an error from IE7 indicating that I don't have software to render this particular type of URL.  FireFox changes the URL automatically, and Safari doesn't care either, both will render the feed in browsers.

Now, DNN being a browser based framework, would need the http:// protocol from what I see.

Cheers,
