Dario,

this will expose just how new I am to DNN or web development. I do not have IIS installed on my machine. I'm just using the ASP.net development server that comes with VS, I'm not sure, and I don't know how to tweak the ports there, can you help?

Hi Viktork,

select your website under the VS' Solution Explorer and in the propeerties box uncheck the Use dynamic ports option. In the website's property pages you can set whatever start page for your website. This is the setup I always use, except that I don't use Cassini (VS web server), but IIS.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa

so you are using a port, the number after the : that's why your blog posts are failing to load.
