Please can you look in your event log and see if you get this message against the 04.01.00 upgrade event:-

Events Module Updated: 04.01.00 --> All Events Upgraded

I've got the same problem ATM, I was also running 4.0.2 on this portal, the upgrade completed a'ok without any errors / warnings. I have this text in my event log saying all events were updated. I get the exact same error message...

select recurmasterid, rrule, eventname from {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}eventsrecurmaster

recurmasterid rrule eventname

9   Test Event 1
10   Test Event 2
11   Test Event 3
12   Test Event 4
13   Test Event 5
14   Test Event 6

select eventid, repeattype, every, period from {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}events where recurmasterid IN (1,2,6,7,8)

Ok, I guess I had to just go into the module settings and a nice red warning was presented saying the recurring upgrade failed and needed to be restart, clicking that button fixed the issue.

Interesting that it said everything had upgraded OK, but yes I did add the extra checks in the Module Settings to allow an upgrade to be re-started. It would be worth checking all module instances, since it appears you have (or have had) multiple Events module instances on your portal.

Cheers
Roger

I suspect you did an upgrade on DNN 5.0.x, which seems to have a bug which would have caused this symptom. It will have upgraded only one module instance per portal, which I think your reports show.
