Hi, im developing a site using DNN4.9.1 and need to make it available in both English and Swedish languages for the users.

Also i have installed the swedish language pack, but if i select the swedish language only the login, admin & host level menus appear in swedish.

But the content of the pages (like text/html modules & user created modules), menus,... remain in english.

What should i do to have the page contents, menus,... in swedish

Thanks in Advance

-Nisha

Hi,

We offer free extensions to implement multilingual DNN portals, that include some documentation on static localization (which is supported by DNN, to localize fixed texts) vs content localization (which is announced for DNN 5, to localize content -- such as text added/configured by user in a module or inside DNN itself.

You can also implement ML portals by using multilingual version of modules that enable to configure content for different languages.

you need to use a page localization solution, e.g. free EALO (from "Forge", see icon above), free DSLocalizator from dnn.tiendaboliviana.com or PageLocalization from www.apollo-software.nl.

you will also need multilingual modules, e.g. from the developers mentioned before or any others, e.g. free MagicContent, which is available from Forge as well.

 Hi Nishath,

You can use our module that helps you localizing text/html content. Our module also have the ability to add tabs and specify localized contents per tab. You can see our demo here:

if you like it you can buy here:

Etienne,

i'v created the root language pages for english & swedish namely en & sv, as in the presentation sample.

But am getting en & sv in the menu.

In the sample presentation its mentioned the extension uses custom navigation providers and am not clear about it.

I tried to solve it, but the solutions for my search depend on "Adequation.DNNExtensions.Localization" dll, which i could find no where.

Or where can I assign the rootmenuitem, for the navigation provider. In the index.ascx( residing under skins folder) am able to change only menu styles.

how can i get the pages under en & sv in menu, if the respective languages are chosen.

-Nishath
