I am considering using dotnetnuke, and would like to use a hosting service that is DNN friendly.

I would like to find a review by a 3rd party of the DNN hosting sites.

Is there such a thing?

Thanks

Bob

Well, I'm not a third party since I work for PowerDNN, but with DNN in our name, you can bet that we're DotNetNuke friendly.

I'm not sure of a site that lists DotNetNuke hosting reviews.

Bob-
This is an oft-repeated question here in the forums.  There are lots of recommendations for various providers.  Here is a thread from December:

  http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/118/threadid/255123/scope/posts/Default.aspx

You can also see way more posts on this topic than you ever wanted here:

Many Good Providers, but...

Probably the most consistent "warning" I've seen is to be wary of WebHost4Life (WH4L) .  WH4L advertises heavily here on the dotnetnuke.com site and provides very affordable DNN hosting.  Unfortunately over the past couple of years I've seen many, many DNN admins reporting consistent cases of slow/no response from their WH4L-hosted sites due to over-allocation of server resources on the part of the hosting provider.  Some users, though, have reported being perfectly happy with WH4L.  (NOTE: I've not tried WH4L myself -- I'm just repeating what I've read in many similar threads here in the DNN forums.)

Here are a couple of WH4L-related threads from the past 12 months:

  http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/107/threadid/172214/scope/posts/Default.aspx
  http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/118/threadid/248471/scope/posts/Default.aspx

...and here's a long-running thread (two years) regarding WH4L on another site:

  http://haacked.com/archive/2004/06/04/webhost4life.aspx

...and a thread that's been running for five years:

  http://www.dotnetfreaks.com/Reviews.aspx?action=6&ResID=1728&CatID=377

Note that the external threads include both positive and negative reviews of WH4L.
