I have an intranet site that uses mixed mode authentication - both Windows Integrated Authentication using the Active Directory provider, and the standard DNN authentication.  The site is set up to login users via window authentication first, and then will go to the login page.  I'm using DNN 4.09.00

There are blogs on this site, and we've syndicated them.  However, none of the RSS readers can access the content.  I've verified that if I set up a page on the site that All Users can see (without authentication), then the feeds show up.  So I know that the RSS readers can get to the site.  They just can't get through the authentication, even after I've entered my windows credentials.

I found an old post on this subject from 2006 - http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/postid/18620/Default.aspx

Has this issue been resolved?  Are there any workarounds?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Helena, what version of the AD provider are you using? You can find out by going onto the web server, right-clicking on the DotNetNuke.Authentication.ActiveDirectory.dll, going to Properties, and looking at the Details tab.

Also what version of the Blog module are you using?

Mike, I'm using ActiveDirectory version 1.0.4.62303 and Blog Module 03.05.01.

That should work fine. It's working on my test install @ http://dev.gmss.org. That has the 03.03.01 version of the blog module installed but the generated URL for the rss hasn't changed that I can see. I'll see if I can't upgrade the blog to the latest version on that site and do some more testing.

Have you had a chance to try it with the later version of the blog module?
