Hi,

i recently upgraded to DNN version 4.09.01 and saw the SolPartMenu replaced by the Nav.ascx UserControl.

I have a horizontal navigation bar showing only the root tabs and a second navigation in the left column showing the  Navigation works fine, but when i am on a child page the parent tab of the root menu is not selected.

I used to fix this with a little script setting the StartTabId of the SolPartMenu, but setting the starttabid on the nav usercontrol  doesn't seem to have an effect.

How can i set the root tab selected when we are on a child page?

Thanks

Kind Regards

Patrick

 To set a parent item to remain selected when you are on a child page add the selected style to CSSBreadCrumbRoot. So your code would look like

<dnn:NAV ... CSSBreadCrumbRoot="main_dnnmenu_rootitem_selected" ... />
