Hi Nina,

Thanks for all your help!....

What I am trying to do is insert a flash movie as my site logo using the site settings in the control panel.
I have a flash movie in my root folder...I select the movie to use as my logo but all I get is a small square with a red cross where the flash movie should be....

I have downloaded the flash player you talked about...its great!

Can I ask your advice about the FCKeditor...Does that also install in the same way as a module. I've downloaded it but I'm not sure about how it integrates into DNN

Regards

Malc

Well, I can't answer the reason your image doesn't display - you'll have to go to the inventua forums for that but Anthony is pretty quick to respond.

You know I have a free skin on my site that is flash - if you were to open it - you could see how it works when embedding  into skin, which I should have mentioned but didn't sorry.

In reference to the FCKEditor - it's a great third party editor and I don't want to get off topic here, since there is in fact an FCKEditor project now - it's so good, it's going to be an option within the core functions of DNN.

You can choose to purchase as a module - but if you wan to integrate to your site - you follow the instructions from Mauricio's site  which is here

It requires ftp and web.config changes so remember to backup your web.config file before making any changes.

Hi Nina

I have just downloaded some skins from your site..I followed the link for DNN 3 skins but some of them seem to be only suitable for DNN4. Can you confirm if they are compatible with DNN 3

Cheers

They should be fine for DNN4, I'm in the process of changing the directory - can't seem to get it how I like.

But yes, I installed them on DNN4 locally without a problem.
