Recently have been reviewing the core Repository module, and I noticed that when I upload a file without a defined image, the text "Thumbnail" is displayed but when the user clicks it, it pops an error:

 [NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.]
   DotNetNuke.Modules.Repository.MakeThumbnail.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) +1437
   System.Web.UI.Control.OnLoad(EventArgs e) +99
   System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() +47
   System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessRequestMain(Boolean includeStagesBeforeAsyncPoint, Boolean includeStagesAfterAsyncPoint) +1436

Is there a way to work around this?

go to the module settings and near the bottom you will see where you can specify an image to use in the case where an image is not uploaded. Make sure to select a valid image.
