Hi,

I just installed DNN 4.9 Starterkit & using Ms. SQL 2005. Every thing is ok until step "Run Database Installation Script" whereas the process is never end.

I use VWD 2008 Express Edition on Vista. I run installation form VWD.

Please share how to solve the problem.

Many thanks,

Samuel

Check your file permissions (makes sure permissions are set correctly all the way down for your installation).

If you run a privacy program such as ZoneAlarm, make sure cookies and ad blocking are completely disabled.

NB you do not need to use Visual Studio to install DNN (I do not recommend it to start off with)...  If you are looking at development then start kit is good for developing modules but I recommend starting off with the source version. Make sure you use IIS.
