I must start by saying I am not very BLOG saavy.  I added the blog to my Home page of the family site.  I thought it would be a good place for people to get someones attention if they wanted to tell them something or let them know they posted some pictures on their page, etc.

I have set the page and the blog settings so that all registered users could view and edit the page.  I thought this would allow everyone to see each others blog posts.  Unfortunately, you can only see the blogs that you create yourself.  When someone else logs on to the site, they can not see your blog.

I did not notice this right away becuase I was logged in as a Superuser and could see everything that was entered into the blog section.  When no one was responding or commenting on anyone elses blogs, I logged on as a normal user and I could not see anyone's entries but my own.

Is there a better way than a blog to accomplish want I am try to create functionally.  Would a message board (if such a thing exists) or a chat module be a better option?

Tom
