I am a total newbie but think I have made some progress.  When I followed the instructions, to edit web.config the install failed at the portal creation stage.  I edited the web.config file and changed several instances of the 'SiteSqlServer' string to 'DotNetNuke'.

It now gets past the Portal creation and I've got some new errors, but I think it's progress.  Could someone put me right if I've actually totally screwed up by doing the above.

Didn't change anything, just ran build again and it worked.  Now got a working setup but don't now how.

The only thing I did differently is close down all browser instances before ctrl+f5 in VBW.

Seems weird!
