Hi,

I would like some assistance in the following points

1. Is there a way to remove the Register | Login link or should I just remove the token when designing the skin.
2. A link to the login page for administrators to manage content.
3. A way for removing the register link so that at least the administrator can login incase point 2 is not possible.

So basically I want to disable the membership system or registration. Just a website where the admin can manage the content. Any ideas will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Wasim

If you in the settings tell that it is a private site then the register part of the skinobject will not show up.

Then you have a Login left for admin.

Hi Jan,

Thank you for your reply. I have actually set User registration to none and that works fine. However how do I remove the pipe (|) that shows before Login text. I would also like to know if there is a way of customizing the Login text to use an image or do I need to do that from the language resource file. Please advise.

Thanks once again.

You where right I ment None.

The Pipe is set ini the skin so you have to change the skin to remowe it. You can change the Login text in the language editor, I its better to do it in the skin and css if you change skin in the future.

Read the skinning documentation about the Login skinobject there you will find how it works. The documentation is very old and outdated but this part is still valid.
