Hi

I have got 2 errors in modules - Active Forums 3.5 and Enterprise Forms and posted them on the DNN forum of asp.net and on the specific forums of the developers and got no answers.
Here is my last hope, but before I post the details I want to know if here is the place to post them.

Hi there,

You have probably a couple of problems getting the answers you seek.   From what I understand DNN stuff is being transitioned away from ASP.Net forums and moved over here to the dotnetnuke home site, so you might not get anyone answering or even reading your questions over there.

Second Active Forums and Enterprise forums while they run under DNN are not actually part of DNN they are their own modules. They also have their own support forums on their own pages where people know more about them are probably reading and posting.

This is a great place to find answers for core modules and general DNN stuff but to get the attention and support of the developers of those other modules it would probably be best to post over on those modules home page forums.

Cheers,

Paul Davis

I have had great Super EXCELLENT support from the team over at ActiveForums. When you purchased the ActiveForum module, SnowCovered *should* have forwarded your information to them, and thus created a "customer account" at ActiveModules.com. "Will M." provides terrific, personal support- and has even been able to log in to my site, remedy problems, and offer additional instruction. I would say- unparalled support is provided for registered customers.

Doublecheck the emails sent to you from SnowCovered. If you "inherited" your module, you may not be able to access the customer-only support from them. If that be the case, the module is well worth the purchase, IMHO.

What do you mean by "inherited" ? From my grandfather ?
Ofcoruse I purchased the module.
I posted the question on the forum like everyone else and got no answer.
Anyway, the problem was that one of the site admin's on buildportal.com tried to add 2 threads to the forum, and then deleted them and added other 3 threads.
Now whenever he was logged in as Admin, he saw the 3 new threads, but when logging out he saw that original 2 thread he made at the begining. When pressing one of those threads an error showd.

While I believe everyone is entitled to their opinions, I would prefer matters like this be taken offline or at least not handled via these forums.
