The problem seems to be occurring every 20 minutes... however, since I just updated the Simple Gallery module to the latest version from Scott, it has been 20 minutes and I have not seen the error again, and the database size is not creeping anymore.

I also deleted an instance of the module's RandomImage module... between these two actions, it seems the eventlog is not filling up anymore.

Chad,

It looks like you have isolated the issue to be the simple gallery module.  It looks like it has an improper implementation of the ISearchable interface which is what is causing the issues.

What I would recommend is that you temporarily disable its implementation of the optional interfaces and see if the issue goes away.  (It should).

I do not feel comfortable though posting the SQL script needed to actually perform this action, if you are willing to give it a shot, e-mail me directly and I can give you what you need, to use at your own risk.

You might also talk with the Ventrian guys to see if they can help.

Disabling search on a module is rather simple and involves no SQL script.  Just to to edit the module definition for the module in question and remove the Controller Class field content (make it empty).  After that the DNN would ignore that module for search.
