<p>Hi Forum,</p> <p>I am a freelance developer and i would like to design and develop web applications using Dotnetnuke(opensource) but what about Microsoft producets?</p> <p>Can anyone clear that whether the license agreements of Ms express editions (like Sql server 2005,visual studio 2008,web developer 2008 ) are applicated for individual freelance developer or not?</p> <p>Regards</p> <p>Riaz</p>

I am pretty sure that the express editions are not limited in their use, though I honestly haven't used them myself.

I think the only limitation in their use are purely technical (i.e. feature limitations, connection limits etc)... once you are on their bandwaggon they hope you will upgrade to the "paid for" products with less limitations. The feature set however is pretty good for a free product.

So I can bundle any application developed using express editions and provide that to my client while having the express edition license itself?

Am i right?
