Hi All,

How can I get the portal id or root folder of the current portal from within my module code? I know there is a user control that shows the folders under the root and the files under the selected folder, but I only need the folder portion of this. I can't find any info in the docs.

Thanks

P.

PortalSettings.HomeDirectory will give the site relative path while PortalSettings.HomeDirectoryMapPath will give the absolute path.

assuming your module inherits from PortalModuleBase there are built in properties you can just get.

PortalId

PortalSettings

the PortalSettings object has a HomeDirectory path (and a HomeDirectoryMapPath).

You can trace a lot of this down by using the Object Browser in VS
