I upgraded to 4.9.2 from 4.9.0 but am receiving the following errors:

The file '/DesktopModules/AuthenticationServices/LiveID/Login.ascx' does not exist.

Anyone have any idea what went wrong?

did you install live id? did you check existence of the file mentioned? How did you perform the upgrade?

I did not install Live ID, I just did a standard upgrade. I performed the upgrade as follows:  Downloaded the 4.9.2 upgrade package, uploaded app_offline.htm, uploaded 4.9.2 zip to my server, unzipped it over 4.9.0 version, renamed release.config to web.config, made necessary changes to connectionstrings, machinekey, set autoupgrade to False, saved, moved app-offline.htm to another directory other than root, went to <mysite>/install/install.aspx, allowed it to upgrade then clicked the link to my website....

The file mentioned does not exist, in  4.9.2 Upgrade Zip, on my host, in 5.0 Install zip,or  4.9.2 install zip..... Dunno what happened.  I have read in a blog from Mitch Sellers that I need to go to my DB and disable LiveID in the Authentication Table- Did this but Can not Disable LiveID and OpenID.

I re-did everything as above and still getting the same errors.  Should I try the Install version?

I did the install version, but this did not work either.  Can someone HELP------PLEASE, I'm begging here.
